Home..........Bringing them together
City-wide fistas for some of our children
Trujillo - 15 August
Cusco - 19 August

First we were bused into the Bruce Peru centre in Trujillo - we came from 7 different BP schools and had never met one another before, and at first we stayed together with our own school mates, not mixing with the others.
Bruce Peru satellite school, Zarzuelas, Cusco, opened July 2005
But then they started playing group sports and games, then there were contests and prizes. Some of us had our own shool cheers to help along our team - little by little we all mixed with all the others:we are all Bruce Peru kids.

We came together from the three Bruce Peru schools in Cusco - we had never met the kids from the other schools before. It was really fun.

First we got to play a number of games and sports together - here we are learing the Hula Hoop. Then we had an English lesson, wrote compositions and then tucked into a nutritious snack.
Then we had lunch
The lines formed to receive medical treatement from the US volunteer doctors of Bruce PEru
afterwards we stuffed ourselves on sweets.
Our new friend from the Circus taught us some of his art. We all got to twirl plates and do other fun stuff he taught us. Rachael, Bethany and Leah, great US volunteer doctors of Bruce Peru - come to assist the doctor
Wish he would come again - he really let us get involved.
Finally we all got together to have a group photo
The doctors continued day after day until each child was treated.
Then we boarded our buses back to our communities, taking our prizes, sweets and clothes with us.
Finally we were treated to the movie "Madagascar" - which we loved. For some of us it was our first movie.
